Philosophy
I am resolved to make the world a better place for future generations through the responsible application of engineering principles. The production and application of energy—particularly electric energy—is central to our techno-economy and the root of many environmental problems, leading me to focus my efforts on improving our management of this resource. I treat energy efficiency as a form of energy production since it makes more of the energy produced useful.
